Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) is a free, high-quality education program designed to prepare Florida’s 4-year-olds for kindergarten and build a foundation for their educational success. Our VPK program focuses on delivering age-appropriate curricula that includes early literacy and math standards as well as principles of our Christian faith. With 3 classes we can provide smaller class sizes and a nurturing environment that supports both intellectual and character development while preparing children for kindergarten in a faith-centered setting.
Our VPK program runs Monday through Friday from 9am-12pm. This program is free of charge. For an additional cost, VPK wraparound care is also provided from 6:30 am – 6pm.
You can learn more about the Early Learning Coalition of Brevard County and Florida's Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program (VPK) by clicking here.
OUR CLASSROOMS
Our Bible lessons and activities are interwoven in each classroom's weekly lesson plans. All our students, one-year-old through VPK, attend a weekly chapel that incorporates age-appropriate worship through music and stories.
We have 9 classrooms for ages ranging from three months old to VPK. Each classroom is arranged into areas that contain age-appropriate learning centers to stimulate learning. We also enjoy many special presentations from our friends in the community.
OUR NUTRITION PROGRAM
Cross Bridge Learning Center is proud to partner with the Child Care Food Program, which plays a vital role in providing nutritious, well-balanced meals and snacks to support the physical and cognitive development of young children. Through this program, we ensure that children receive the essential nutrition they need for healthy growth. Early exposure to balanced meals in a structured environment fosters the development of lifelong healthy eating habits.
Chapel
At our weekly chapel services, we introduce young children to the foundations of faith, beginning with our one-year-olds. Utilizing the Simply Loved Curriculum, we provide Bible stories, songs, and simple prayers tailored to be engaging and understandable for toddlers and preschoolers. This early exposure to faith helps build a strong spiritual foundation that will support their growth in later years.
Additionally, our toddlers and preschoolers have the opportunity to participate in special Christmas and Spring programs during our Sunday morning services, offering them a meaningful way to share their faith and engage with the church community.
